Dr. Hathuc graduated from The University of California at Davis with a bachelor degree in electrical engineering. He worked for Hewlett Packard/ Agilent Technologies for almost 6 years. When realizing that electrical engineering was not the field where he could find his passion, Dr. Hathuc started looking into different profession. After having shadowed his own dentist, he soon learned that dentistry would be the career of his life. Dr. Hathuc voluntarily left Agilent Technologies to attend The University of California at San Francisco where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
As a classmate, Dr. Hathuc always made himself available when his classmates needed him. He was chosen to be The Most Talented and The Best All Around by his classmates. As a future health care provider, Dr. Hathuc volunteered at UCSF's Community Dental Clinic where he provided free dental services to the less fortunate. He was awarded with a Certificate of Appreciation for his class.

Dr. Hathuc receivedhonor grades for both two clinical years at The University of California at San Francisco. As a senior dental student, Dr. Hathuc was inducted into the national honor dental society Omicron Kappa Upsilon. He received"The Most Motivated Student Award" from UCSF Alumni Association. He also received "Award of Excellence: Outstanding Achievement, both Academically and Clinically, in Implant Dentistry" from The American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Hathuc's goal is to create healthy beautiful smiles for his patients. To achieve that goal, Dr. Hathuc has constantly improved himself through continuing education courses/programs. One of which is the two year orthodontic training from Academy of GP Orthodontic. Dr. Hathuc is also Invisalign certified.
Dr. Ho has written several textbook chapters in Clinical Cases in
Periodontics, Clinical Cases in Implant Dentistry and Clinical Maxillary
Sinus Elevation Surgery. He also has published articles in the field of
periodontics and implant dentistry. Dr. Ho has received many awards
over the past years, including International College of Dentists Prize,
Sunstar GUM Award in Dentistry, Dr. Andre Charest Prize awarded by
Quebec Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, and Henry D.
Epstein Award and Joseph L. Henry Award given by Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He is also a finalist in Richard J. Lazzara Fellowship
in Advance Implant Surgery given by The American Academy of Periodontology Foundation.
Apart from his clinical practice, Dr.
Ho is also an assistant professor teaching periodontics and implant
dentistry at The University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston. In
addition, he is involved in giving continuing education courses to
general dentists. Dr. Ho is very passionate about his work and strives
to respect, care and educate his patients in their periodontal and
dental implant health.
